Sriram grew up in Kuala Lumpur in an Indian household, his fascination with technology started from a young age. He studied electrical engineering in university in Singapore. During this time, he was admitted into a prestigious program that sent him to Sweden to work in an early-stage tech startup. In Sweden, he organized a tech conference. It turned out to be the first conference Spotify representatives spoke at, where they introduced the company to institutional investors (and to the world!).
