I ran Oracle’s Corporate Development group and its $500M venture fund. That fund invested in 37 companies, and was in the top tier of venture funds for returns in its era. As a corporate development professional, I have long experience in acquiring companies for my employers, in striking deals in the areas of technology licensing, and in making strategic investments.
