Mark Buffington is co-founder and CEO of BIP Capital, a venture capital firm recognized as one of the most active and successful in the Southeast. In addition, he has co-founded three successful companies over the course of his career. Since founding BIP Capital, Mark has led investment rounds in more than 35 companies in a number of market verticals, including Healthcare IT, Digital Media, Ed Tech, Enterprise SaaS and FinTech. Notable exits include Vendormate, Ingenious Med, Shareholder InSite and Aspirion Health Resources. Mark also pioneered a new business model in the wealth management space that led to the creation of BIP Wealth, one of the fastest growing wealth management firms in the country, currently managing over $850 million in assets.
