Over the past several decades, Jon has also been involved with many startup enterprises, including the Philadelphia Stars of the United States Football League, technology ventures, and several communications projects. Jon Powell and his Powell Family Foundation have recently partnered with MainLineTV.org to produce two Emmy nominated and Telly Award-winning documentaries: “Kensington in Crisis” and “Life without Parole: The Story of George Martorano.” Jon remains steadfast and committed to socially responsible issues using documentaries and charitable organizations as an impetus for change.
