With experience as a venture capitalist and a CEO of two healthcare technology companies, John brings a wide-ranging perspective to Canaan. John initially joined Canaan in 2000 as a healthcare investor and served interim roles in Canaan portfolio companies over several years before being named CEO of Abyrx (formerly Orthocon) in 2010. John received a B.S. degree from Fairfield University, a MBA from Columbia Business School and is a Kauffman Fellow.
