David is a co-founder and Partner at NextView Ventures. As a former founder himself, David uses his marketing experience and GTM eye to invest in early-stage startups that will change the world for the better. Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, David co-founded Sombasa Media, an e-mail marketing company best known for its flagship product BargainDog, which he grew to to five million registered members. Sombasa was successfully acquired by About.com where David served as Vice President of Marketing.
