He has served on 24 private and public boards and has been a "day 1" CEO 4 times. Dave has a background in AI from the MIT AI lab (now CSAIL) focusing on neural networks and big-data. His first company, DataSage, used neural networks to analyze internet click-stream data to optimize consumer experiences, working closely with Amazon and other first-generation internet companies. DataSage became an early internet "unicorn" in 2000.
