Dan Morehead founded Pantera Capital Management LP in 2003. He also co-founded and was CEO of Atriax, an electronic foreign exchange platform. Prior to that, he was head of macro trading and CEO at Tiger Management, global head of FX options at Deutsche Bank in London, and managed a global macro fund and derivatives trading units in North Americaand Japan at Bankers Trust. Dan began his career at Goldman Sachs as a mortgagebacked securities trader. As CEO of Pantera Capital, Dan is actively involved in providing investors exposure to Bitcoin in addition to digital currency startups. Bitcoin represents a quantum shift in the global financial landscape and will fundamentally transform the way finance and commerce is conducted around the world.
