Matt Humphrey is a Partner at Quiet Capital. He was also the Co-Founder and CEO of LendingHome Corporation.

As Managing Partner, Matt oversees the Fund’s operations and investment process, including fundraising; investment identification, due diligence, and structuring; portfolio management; and asset disposition. Matt joined FCA in 2001. Prior to joining FCA, Matt co-founded MyOfficeProducts, Inc., and served as Chairman, President, and CEO until its acquisition.  Previously, he served as the Chairman, President, and CEO of Radar Business Systems, Inc. and a Regional Vice President of Radar’s successor company, U.S. Office Products, Inc.  Prior, he was a Vice President of Third National Bank and its successor, SunTrust Bank.

was a programmer and project manager in several technologies companies and cofounder of his own innovative startups. has developed and implemented on the market a nationwide series of workshops (called Imagine Camps) preparing startups for the world’s largest technology competition Microsoft Imagine Cup.

Matt Krisiloff is CEO of Conception, a company working on turning pluripotent stem cells into viable human eggs. Previously, he was the director of Y Combinator Research, the research non-profit of Y Combinator. He was also a founding team member of OpenAI, and has worked with over 150 startups as both an investor and advisor.

Prior to co-founding Verity Venture Partners, Matt spent over 27 years with Bain Capital, LP. He served as a Senior Advisor in its private equity business from 2016 through September 2019. From 2001 through 2015, Matt was a Managing Director in the firm’s private equity business where he co-led the North America consumer products and retail industry vertical. He also led several professional development programs for the private equity business as well as regularly served on private equity investment and portfolio management committees. Prior to joining Bain Capital in 1992, Matt was a consultant at Bain & Company, where he consulted in the consumer products and manufacturing industries.

Matt Murphy joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 1999 where he focuses on multi-stage investments across mobile and cloud infrastructure technologies. Matt is either a Director or works closely with the management teams of AppDynamics, Drawbridge, Egnyte, Insidesales.com, InstartLogic, PernixData, Puppet Labs, SessionM, Shazam, andSimplivity. Previously, Matt was a Board Observer at Google (from initial investment to IPO), launched the iFund in ’08 (a collaborative initiative with Apple to build the defining applications on the iOS platform), and led KPCB’s investments in AutoNavi (Nasdaq: AMAP, 2010) and Aerohive Networks (Nasdaq: HIVE, 2014). Matt also served as a Director at Shopkick (acquired by SK Planet 2014), Pelago (acquired by Groupon in 2011), Ocarina Networks (acquired by Dell in 2010), Dash Navigation (acquired by RIM in 2009) and Peakstream (acquired by Google in 2008).

Matt was most recently the Chief Data Scientist at Third Point where he built the data analytics and technology platform used to enhance the firm’s investment capabilities in equity, structured credit, venture capital and cryptocurrency. Prior to joining Third Point, Matt was the Head of Data Strategy at WorldQuant and part of the WorldQuant Ventures founding team focused on private investments in fintech, data, and technology companies.

Matt Ocko, with three decades of experience as a technology entrepreneur and VC, in the US and globally, is co-Managing Partner and co-founder of DCVC (Data Collective). Matt’s current investments on behalf of DCVC span from computational drug discovery and synthetic biology to geospatial and space access platforms, robotics, applied AI, anti-terror systems, and large-scale enterprise platforms including quantum computers. Matt holds a degree in Physics from Yale University, and he is an inventor on over 50 granted or in-process patents in areas as diverse as computer systems virtualization, fraud detection, and AR.

Following over a decade in banking, Matt co‐ran a $1 billion trade finance portfolio, initially under the umbrella of a boutique hedge fund manager and later as part of The Carlyle Group.

Matt was subsequently hired by one of Carlyle’s portfolio companies as its CFO and tasked with building most of the firm’s financial infrastructure from scratch. He revamped and scaled its credit facilities and led the divesting of its non‐performing and non‐core assets, leading to its most profitable ever 2-year period.

As a General Partner of C2V and its COO & CFO, Matt has built and oversees the fund’s infrastructure and has been an integral part of our investment selection process, leveraging his two-plus decades of experience in evaluating owner-operators of privately held companies as well as applying the deep financial and operational analysis of prospective investments that, while the hallmark of traditional fund management, is exceedingly (and unfortunately) rare in the early-stage venture world. .

Michael Jin is a Managing Director who serves as the BioMed Group Lead at TEEC Angel Fund. Michael leads the analysis and execution of investment in startups in both US and China with focus on biomedicine, semiconductor, and clean-tech. Michael was the Vice President of Engineering & General Manager of China Technology Center at iWatt(acquired by Dialog Semiconductor at $345M in 2013) since 2006 after it merged with Simple Silicon that he co-founded in 2000. He is currently serving as Board Directors in 7 high-tech startups. Michael leads the vision and strategy for the firm and investments. From sourcing deals to supporting the portfolio companies, Michael takes an active role both within the team as well as the broader portfolio.

Before joining Atento and moving to Tulsa, OK, Michael had a vast operational background. Michael’s career started as a barista at a coffee shop in high school. Through undergrad and business school, he oversaw operations of 22 stores and managed a $19M coffee operation.

Michael eventually partnered with close friends to grow a product manufacturing company to nearly $40M in revenue before selling it to a publicly traded company. During that time, Michael began investing in real estate as well as angel investing. This led him to join Spotad, one of his portfolio companies, as President. From there, he joined the Clinton Campaign in 2016 and continued looking for more ways to make an impact.

This led him to launch Atento Capital in Tulsa, where he’s spent the last 5+ years investing in early-stage companies and driving various transformative programs and initiatives geared toward building a vibrant and inclusive tech ecosystem.

With Daniel, he is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of FabFitFun, which he bootstrapped from an idea to a scaled business with hundreds of millions in revenue before raising from institutional VCs. Prior to starting FFF, Michael was co-founder and managing partner of Charlie, where he directed digital strategies for celebrities, politicians, Fortune 500 companies, startups, and nonprofits.  Michael has been investing in tech for over a decade, with early investments in Ring, Prefect, Turo, Carbon Health, and others.

Mike joined Insight in 2022 as a Managing Director at Insight Partners Public Equities (IPPE). Prior to Insight Partners, Mike was a Senior Analyst at Joho Capital where he was responsible for TMT long/short investments. Previously, Mike was a Portfolio Manager at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Mike graduated from Princeton University and received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mike enjoys surfing, in particular those brief moments when he is actually riding a wave instead of being held under water.

Prior to starting AgFunder, Michael was a founding partner of SeedRock Capital Partners and founder and CEO of SeedRock Africa Agriculture, a social impact investment agribusiness based in West Africa.

He earned an AB from Brown in Economics with a special focus on economic and business history, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. Mike Hirshland is the Co-founder of Resolute Ventures. He has been an investor and contributor to the early stage ecosystem for 18 years. Throughout this time Mike has consistently been a leader in bringing members of the startup community together. Most notably, Mike created Dogpatch Labs, the community which helped launch over 350 companies including Instagram. Mike also created the renowned Digital Media Summit at Jackson Hole, attended by many of the leading founders between 2005-20011. As an early stage investor, Mike was a partner with Polaris Venture Partners from 1999-2011, where he was the original seed investor behind Automattic, and backed other companies including Q1 Labs (acquired by IBM for $600 million), Quantcast and KISSmetrics.

Michael Loeb, a serial entrepreneur, is currently the President and CEO of Loeb NYC, a private venture investor, and start-up incubator and operator of consumer marketing businesses. Prior to Loeb NYC, Michael was the President of the Synapse Group, Inc., now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Time Warner. Michael co-founded the company in 1992 with Priceline founder, Jay Walker. Under Michael’s direction, Synapse grew to become the largest seller of consumer magazine subscriptions worldwide, leveraging its revolutionary and patented “continuous service” model to fundamentally change the industry. Michael also assisted Jay Walker in the creation and early funding of Priceline. Prior to Synapse, Michael enjoyed an eight-year career at Time Warner.
