Martin Gibson joined Accel in 2009. Prior to Accel, Martin was a partner at Atlas Ventures. Martin began his career as an engineer with startups Cellstack and Madge Networks, then as a general manager at Scientific Generics (now Sagentia). Martin is from Scotland and graduated from Cambridge and Cranfield School of Management.

For 30 years, Matt has been investing in the visionary fintech founders creating seismic changes in payments, lending, capital markets, insurance, and real estate. He is particularly interested in backing companies building next-generation embedded fintech tools that will upend traditional banking, lending, and B2B payments through increased transparency and security.  

Paul Graham is the author of On Lisp (1993), ANSI Common Lisp (1995), and Hackers & Painters (2004). In 1995, he and Robert Morris started Viaweb, the first SaaS company, which in 1998 became Yahoo Store. In 2002 he discovered a simple spam filtering algorithm that inspired the current generation of filters. He has an AB from Cornell and a PhD in Computer Science from Harvard.

Previously a co-founder and CEO of Justin.tv from 2007 2011 and the co-founder and CEO of Socialcam in 2012. Graduated from Yale University with a bachelor's degree in political science.
