Aaron joined FirstMile in 2013. He thinks a lot about the firm's portfolio strategy and has built a back office that allowed the investment team to greatly increase its pace.

Prior to joining FirstMile, Aaron had a diverse set experiences that provide great perspective as an investor. He spent 10 years as an Army officer and helicopter pilot, leading teams in a number of challenging environments including two overseas deployments. The lessons the military instilled on leadership, teamwork and execution have greatly influenced his thoughts on management and investing.

It was during his MBA that Aaron first developed a desire to work with early-stage companies. Aashay works on all investment activity at Haystack, from identifying founders to helping portfolio companies post-investment. Prior to Haystack, Aashay was an undergraduate at Harvard, where he studied economics and history.

Coming from neurobiology and cancer research, Abby recently drove augmented reality enterprise adoption for 3+ years at Daqri (across sectors including aerospace, AEC, manufacturing, automotive, oil & gas, media & entertainment, etc). Advanced adoption of new media tech across gaming and entertainment verticals for Spredfast, has lead several startups to successful capital procurement including Entrypoint, and advised Mucker Capital on VR/AR strategy.

Prior to Primetime Partners, Abby was an executive at SoulCycle, where she oversaw business development and revenue growth outside the consumer studio business, with an emphasis on building new digital products as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Growth. Abby has also been a Founder herself, teaming with Arianna Huffington to launch Thrive Global, a behavior change technology company focused on employee productivity and wellness. Passionate about supporting transformative companies, Goke is also the Managing Partner of Magic Fund, an early-stage venture capital firm based in California. Magic Fund has backed over 150 high-performing startups such as Payfazz, Kiwi, Retool, Bank Novo, Proof Trading, Sunhouse, Py (acq. Hired), etc. In 2021, Magic Fund launched their Fund II of $30m. Former CTO and VP of Engineering at Dropbox. He scaled the Engineering team from 25 to 1000 and was responsible for new product development, infrastructure and technical operations. Aditya came to Dropbox via the acquisition of Cove, a company that he co-founded. Prior to Cove, Aditya was one of Facebook’s first engineers. He helped build the first versions of key products like Search, NewsFeed and Messenger. He then became Facebook’s first director of Product Engineering, overseeing engineering for products like NewsFeed, Profile, Groups and Events.

Prior to joining Kleiner Perkins, Aditya was a product manager at Google focusing on growth initiatives for the SMB monetization team within emerging markets. He previously was a technical lead at Palantir Technologies, and formerly held software engineering roles at Twitter, and Nextdoor, where he was a Kleiner Perkins fellow. Aditya earned a patent during his time at Twitter for a technical analytics product he co-created.

At Deloitte, he focused on smart factory applications across consumer and industrial product manufacturers. Later, as part of Deloitte's technology innovation group, Deloitte Catalyst, he led the scouting and evaluation of industrial startups.

Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, Aditya was frequently in the midst of “business and organisation building” conversations. Alex is a Founder and General Partner of Ten Eleven Ventures, the industry’s original venture capital fund focused solely on investing in cybersecurity. The founding of Ten Eleven brought together Alex’s experiences in finance, investing, software, and security operating roles in Silicon Valley. In 2002, Alex co-founded PGP Corporation, a company that combined the vision for a new security company with the secure email standard OpenPGP. Alex has been an active researcher and investor in blockchain since 2013 and has held lead advisory roles on projects for Kik Interactive, YouNow, Sweetbridge and many more.

Prior to co-founding Green Egg Ventures, Alex worked at Metamorphic Ventures where he led deal sourcing efforts, streamlined due diligence processes, and provided assistance to LPs and portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, Alex worked in various product development, sourcing, and sales roles.

Alex is the Co-Founder & Co-CEO of Kairos. He has been leading Kairos since 2013, building out the K50 program and leading the company from its roots as a student-run organization into its current focus on building a family of brands designed to make life more affordable. Prior to Kairos Alex worked at Activision helping launch record-breaking IP including Call of Duty and Skylanders.

Alex is a General Partner at Spark Capital and joined the firm at its inception. He has led Spark Capital’s investments in Andela, Badi, Careship, Flywire, GetYourGuide, homeis, Homelike, IEX, Linkwell, Mark43, Reggora, SoundHouse, Talkspace, Tourlane, and TravelPerk. He also led Spark’s previous investments in 5min Media (acquired by AOL) andWayfair (IPO). Prior to joining Spark Capital, Alex was the creator and producer of a number of television shows that he sold to major networks including FOX, E!, Discovery, ITV1 (U.K.) and Yahoo.

Alex has been working in technology his entire career. At Google, he initially focused on launching new products in the ecommerce segment. Later, he joined a team that led the international expansion and growth strategy of media & advertising products. Alex holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from NYU. Raised in California, he’s a native Russian speaker and has lived around the world.

At Google Research, Alex worked on Google Street-Views before and during launch. Preceding Street-Views, also at Google, he worked on the development and launch of the Google Checkout product.

Alex focuses on investing in financial services. Prior to joining the firm, Alex co-founded multiple companies including Affirm ($AFRM), which he co-founded with Max Levchin, FraudEliminator (acquired by McAfee in 2006), Point, TrialPay (acquired by Visa in 2015), TXN (acquired by Envestnest in 2019), and Yub (acquired by Coupons.com in 2013). Holds a BA in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Harvard University.

Formerly the President of Kitty Hawk (an eVTOL company) and was previously the SVP of Engineering at Twitter. Alex has over a decade of experience investing in and advising early to late stage private companies, including Coinbase, Mainstreet, Nuro, Sauce Labs, Digits, Caption Health, and Certn. Started his career as a software engineer at Google.

Alex began his VC career as an analyst at Anthem Venture Partners in 2002. In 2021, a panel of local VCs named Alex one of the top VCs in Los Angeles. Alex has served on the boards of numerous Stage VP companies, including Balto, NotiSphere, SoundCommerce, WhiteFox, SPIDR Tech, Abett, Gray Matter Robotics, and Dyania Health. Alex is also a leader in the civic community of Los Angeles, with past service on three nonprofit boards: KIPP LA Schools, Thrive Scholars, and Los Angeles Animal Services.

Alex runs the show on all things finance: reporting, cash management, budgeting, and the structuring of transactions from an administrative and accounting perspective to ensure compliance with limited partnership agreements. Speaking of limited partners, Alex manages all accounting and reporting in that regard as well. He also loves working with entrepreneurs, helping with diligence on a new company, and leading deals. When not ensuring the seamless administration of the fund, he loves playing with his twin boys, attending his daughter’s dance concerts, and enjoying a good show with his wife.

Alex Soltani founded Skyview Capital in 2005 and is Chairman of the firm’s executive and investment committees. He is a serial entrepreneur and started his first business when still a student at UCLA. Mr. Soltani brings extensive operational experience to his work in private equity. His strong business acumen and prescient investment instincts have led to successful acquisitions across a number of different industries. In 2014, the LA Business Journal declared Mr. Soltani one of the most influential private equity investors in Los Angeles County. Mr. Soltani is actively involved with every aspect of the transaction life cycle and plays a significant role in all of Skyview Capital’s investments.

Alex spent several years working in investment banking before tapping into his natural penchant for entrepreneurship to launch two of his own companies: Innovation Department, and later on, DojoMojo. While starting Innovation Department was all about investing in and building high-quality, space-disrupting brands, DojoMojo came about as a way of building a superior path for growth acquisition through partnership marketing.

Alexa Binns is an investor and marketer with a talent for spotting the latest trends and technology. She learned the ropes investing at Halogen Ventures and Maven Ventures, two seed stage venture funds focused on consumer tech.

Alexa has first hand experience bringing brands to market to achieve massive scale. She launched the Cheeky brand with Target, as well as two national public health campaigns with MTV, Walgreens, and the NBA. Alexa’s specialty is deploying the latest marketing techniques: she wrote her master’s thesis on how to build a brand on YouTube, was nominated for a Mashable Award for social media marketing with Foursquare, and helped sell the Twitch influencer marketing platform NoScope.
