Mr. Morningstar is a 40-year veteran of the medical device industry, most of that in quality, regulatory and clinical affairs. A lifelong entrepreneur and investor, Mr. Morningstar has been active in the Colorado startup ecosystem for over 20 years. He co-founded Silverglide Surgical Technologies, Inc., a Boulder surgical instruments business successfully sold to Stryker in a planned exit. More recently he was an investor and senior manager at ValveXchange, a heart valve start-up in Denver. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University and currently consults in the medical device industry.

Kevin was the founder, CEO, and chairman of internet advertisement-technology giant, DoubleClick, which was acquired by Google in 2007 for $3.1 billion. From 1995 2009, on breaks from building his own companies, Kevin started O'Connor Ventures, investing in companies such as Procore, Internet Security Systems, 1-800-Flowers.com, HotJobs, and MeetUp.

Kevin is also Chairman of the Board at Meetup, where AlleyCorp is the majority investor. Earlier in his career, Kevin helped to grow DoubleClick first as President and then as CEO, ultimately leading the company to IPO in 1998 and acquisition by Google in 2007.

Kishen Mangat joined Boulder Ventures in 2022 with 25 years’ operating experience as a founder and executive in startup and corporate environments.

From 2013 to 2022, Kishen was VP/GM at Cisco Systems, where he was responsible for the Mobility, Automation, Internet-of-Things and Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) business units. He led multiple technology and business model transitions at scale and was responsible for developing and deploying the world’s first nationwide production 5G core network.

Prior to Cisco, Kishen was Founder of BroadHop, Inc. where he and his co-founders were responsible for pioneering dynamic service control in mobile networks and introduced the industry’s first virtualized real time policy controller. Kishen was responsible for building out BroadHop’s global go-to-market and field sales and support operations, while directly engaging with dozens of tier-1 mobile operators. In 2013, BroadHop was acquired by Cisco Systems.

Prior to BroadHop, Kishen founded and was CEO of Amigo Systems (sold to POST). He was also co-founder of STS Hotel Net (sold to CAIS Internet, a KKR Company).

Krishna founded REMUS while a scrappy, entrepreneurial undergrad at MIT – first in a dorm room, then from a basement – in 2008 when the world was in recession. The original foundation of REMUS remains at the forefront: partnering with visionary rebels to build (not bet on) technology businesses rewiring entire industries.

Krishna partners with entrepreneurs applying AI to enterprise or helping modernize the healthcare system. Krishna has helped many of these companies build powerful foundations (from $0M to $15M+ in revenues) and has regularly added trajectory-changing value to his companies over the course of a decade, much as he has done with REMUS itself. Krishna brings in an investment expertise in early stage companies and enormous energy in venture fund management, investor relations, screening disruptive startups and performing an extremely thorough pre-investment due diligence. Krishna has a long experience in founding and co-founding startup companies, for example, a software research firm StarpathIT, a social media insights platform, WebPresence, and an online SaaS business.

Krishna helps steward the GV investing team and co-leads GV’s life sciences group. As an investor, he is interested in the entire healthcare spectrum, including care delivery, health IT, devices, diagnostics, payor/provider, and therapeutics. Kristian is responsible for building the ecosystem around Antler in Europe focusing on partnerships with commercial companies that want to contribute through their services and idea generation towards founders in the programs. Ms. Burow is a Director of Beam Therapeutics (BEAM), Gossamer Bio (GOSS), Scholar Rock (SRRK), Boundless Bio, Autobahn Therapeutics, ROME Therapeutics, Neumora Therapeutics, Pretzel Therapeutics and Treeline Biosciences, among others. She previously was a co-founder and Director of Receptos (RCPT – acquired by Celgene) and was a Director of Vir Biotechnology (VIR), Vividion Therapeutics (acquired by Bayer AG), and Epirium Bio among others. Ms. Burow has participated and led investments in a number of other ARCH portfolio companies including Interline Therapeutics, Erasca (ERAS), Dewpoint Therapeutics, Aledade, Kura Oncology (KURA), Kythera Biopharmaceuticals (KYTH – acquired by Allergan), and Ikaria (acquired by Mallinckrodt). Prior to joining ARCH, Ms. Burow was an Associate with the Novartis BioVenture Fund in San Diego. As an early employee at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF), she directed Chemistry Operations and was active in Business Development where she helped create numerous companies as spinouts from GNF. Ms. Burow holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, an M.A. in Chemistry from Columbia University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.

Prior to receiving her MBA, Kriti was an investor at Sequoia Capital India, where she evaluated and executed on early and growth opportunities in various sectors. Prior to Sequoia, Kriti was also a consultant at McKinsey & Co, and worked on numerous client projects in consumer, financial services and public policy regarding education and gender parity. She spent her MBA summer at Softbank Vision Fund in London evaluating growth opportunities in leading technology companies. Coming from a family of teachers, Kriti is passionate about democratizing high quality education and excited to bridge the access gap across geographies.

Mr. Sripadam was a member of the founding team at Redback Networks, a successful Networking company where he made key contributions to Systems and Hardware. Dr. Parmar serves as a Director on the Boards of Akouos (NASDAQ: AKUS), Ensoma, Entrada (NASDAQ: TRDA), GlycoEra, Homology (NASDAQ: FIXX), Rallybio (NASDAQ: RLYB) and Vor Biopharma (NASDAQ: VOR). Prior to 5AM, Dr. Parmar was at Harvard Medical School, where he was an NIH-sponsored M.D./Ph.D. Physician Scientist Fellow in the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Program. He completed clinical clerkships at the Massachusetts General & Brigham and Women’s Hospitals. At Princeton University, Dr. Parmar worked on developmental genetics with Eric F. Wieschaus (Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1995).

In July 2019, Array was acquired by Pfizer for $11.8 billion in cash, the largest acquisition of a venture-backed life sciences company in the history of Colorado.

Kyle is a founder of First In Ventures. Kyle began his career at the intersection of computers and finance on one of the first high-frequency trading desks on Wall Street. He went on to build and lead trading teams across Asia and North America. He served in various banking roles, including country and global head of high-frequency, quantitative, and fundamental driven strategies. After seventeen years in trading, Kyle began focusing on investing in start-ups and founding his own startup. Today, he is CEO of Cognitive Genetics, a company that was part of the 8th Illumina Accelerator class. While Kyle was taking his startup through the accelerator, he witnessed talented founders with strong ideas struggle to land initial financial support. It was in talking with Amanda Cashin, a co-founder of the Illumina Accelerator, about possible solutions to this problem that the idea for First In Ventures was born.

Laila joined Algebra Ventures as a General Partner to launch the VC's second fund in 2021. She is also a Venture Partner at 500 Global where she is responsible for 500's first MENA Fund (500 Falcons). She joined 500 back in 2019 as a Principal to lead the fund's follow on strategy. Laila has been instrumental in expanding portfolio data gathering as well as analysis efforts from the portfolio. Prior to that, Laila worked with several VC firms across the region such as Middle East Venture Partners in UAE and Algebra Ventures in Egypt where she led transactions and worked with portfolio companies on fundraising and operational enhancements.  Laila was active in the venture capital and startup landscape in Egypt, where she worked as a consultant for several start-up businesses assisting them in developing operational and fundraising schemes. While completing her MBA from London Business School, Laila joined the investment banking division at Morgan Stanley in London as a summer associate, after which she opted to move back to Egypt to pursue a career among the now-thriving startup community. Prior to her postgraduate studies, she worked as an associate at Qalaa Holdings, a regional private equity firm based out of Cairo, where she focused on the alternative energy, oil and gas and glass sectors. She holds a dual undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Law from the American University in Cairo and Cairo University respectively.

Earlier, Lee worked for venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins and helped launch the iFund, a $100M investment vehicle focused on smartphone application platforms.
