Dror brings to Norwest many years of operational, go-to-market, technology, and entrepreneurial experience, having worked extensively in both the U.S. and in Israel as an investor and an executive in the past. He focuses on multi-stage (seed to pre-IPO) and multi-domain (enterprise, cloud, consumer, semi) investments related to Israel. Prior to joining Norwest, Dror served as executive vice president and Chief Strategy Officer of ECI, which he joined in 2004. In this role, he was responsible for ECI’s strategy, mergers and acquisitions, business development, and strategic marketing. He also served on the board of Veraz networks.

Duane began his career in natural foods over 20 years ago. In that time, he has served in management positions for several prominent natural foods companies, including Frontier Natural Products Co-op and WhiteWave. In 2004 Duane co-founded Pixie Mate, a specialty tea business, and from 2007 to 2015 he held several senior management positions for Boulder Brands, ultimately serving as the Executive Vice President of the Balance segment for Boulder Brands, responsible for 3 of the 6 businesses in the portfolio. Concurrent to this, Duane was the Managing Director of the Boulder Brands Investment Group from 2013 to 2015. Duane’s general business management and entrepreneurial experience make him perfectly suited to assist portfolio companies in their business operations, strategic planning and marketing and sales initiatives.

At SOSV, I invest exclusively in start-ups that combine digital and physical technologies to solve business needs or create new consumer experiences. I mostly focus on automation technology for industry, planetary health and human health. I use my diverse background of human factors, design, engineering and GTM to help start-ups scale. Having now invested in 100+ start-ups at SOSV, I have a particular view of the increasingly important role hardware will play in digitising the world. I have in-depth domain knowledge throughout the product creation lifecycle having taken over 30 products to market through start-ups I have co-founded (I have learned from failure). During my time at IDEO, I led product-strategy projects for fortune 500 companies. While I consider myself an ex-designer, my work has won multiple design awards and even featured in the permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York.

Dusan directs Two Sigma Ventures investing efforts at the intersection of life science / healthcare and data science. He joined Two Sigma in 2007 to work on company growth strategy, and he has since helped the firm launch several new business units. Dusan also worked with research groups across the firm in discovering and evaluating new data sources, which are used in the firm’s investment algorithms. Prior to Pose, Dustin worked at the Mailroom Fund, an LA-based venture capital group comprised of the William Morris Agency, Accel Partners, Venrock, and AT&T. There, Dustin focused on discovering and funding high-impact and innovative companies in the internet consumer arena. Before this, he worked at the William Morris Agency, getting his start in the infamous Mail Room.

Dylan Field is the CEO / Co-founder of Figma, a design and prototyping platform for teams who build products together. With the support of the Thiel Fellowship, Dylan dropped out of Brown University to start Figma with his TA Evan Wallace (who became Figma’s CTO). They built Figma on the web in the hopes of tearing down the walls around thesiloed design process. Created his first video games for the Atari 800 in the early 1980s. He joined Microsoft in 1986, and spent the next ten years as one of the early developers of Excel and Word. He left the Office team to pursue his passion for interactive entertainment and created Microsoft Game Studios. Over the next eight years he grew the team from 50 people to over 1200, published more than 100 games including more than a dozen million+ sellers, co-founded the Xbox project, and made Microsoft one of the leaders in the video game business. In 2019 Ed joined with some friends to launch 1Up Ventures, a venture fund to support independent game developers around the world.

Edgar Chiu is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taipei, managing day-to-day operations of the accelerator program and the seed fund.
