In this role, he was responsible for identifying investment opportunities and monitoring local portfolio companies. In addition Jacky headed the Corporate Development activity for Orange startups program. In addition, he served as Vice President for Corporate Development at Orange Digital from 2012 to 2013 and Investment Director at Orange Capital (now Iris Capital) from 2011 to 2012.

Previously, Jacky was a Business Development & Sales Director for the mobile division of SanDisk from 2006 to 2011 and worked as a Corporate and Business Development Director at GFI in Spain from 2003 to 2006. He started his career as part of the management team of Fantine Group (now Aviv Ventures).

Jaclyn joined foundry in 2016 with a passion for supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and investors. Jaclyn leads direct investments in early-stage companies, often collaborating with Foundry’s partner funds. She helped launch the partner fund strategy, building Foundry’s portfolio to over 45 managers. Bringing her unique LP + GP perspective, Jaclyn has become a go-to sounding board for emerging VCs.

Jaclyn first fell in love with entrepreneurship while earning her JD/MBA at CU Boulder. There, she served as Executive Director of Startup Colorado, where she got to know Foundry and the incredible Boulder/Denver startup community the firm helped catalyze. In her brief stint as a practicing attorney, Jaclyn advised clients in M&A transactions and early-stage financings. She also witnessed the founder journey first-hand, working closely with her husband and his family as they built B2B SaaS company, FareHarbor (acquired by BKNG).

Jacob has 15 years of experience building technology startups – both as a venture capital partner and as an entrepreneur. He is a serial founder who most recently built an AI-powered software platform for the M&A industry called Exitround. Previously, he built out a B2B developer platform program at Microsoft called BizSpark. At Shasta, Jacob focuses on investments in SaaS applications broadly, with a particular focus on Applied Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Augmented Reality & Virtual Reality. Jacob is a Kauffman Fellow alumnus of Class 22, and is a co-founding Board Member of LatinxVC, which enables career development of Latinos and Latinas in Venture Capital.

Jake is passionate about helping founders solve the biggest challenges facing our world in healthcare, biology, and sustainability. Jake brings venture and startup experience, having worked across three early-stage funds and a startup accelerator. Prior to 11.2 Capital, Jake helped launch 30Ventures, an early-stage healthcare and biotechnology fund focusing on digital health and precision medicine. Jake was formerly an Associate at gener8tor, a nationally ranked startup accelerator, and Lewis & Clark Ventures, a $125M series A and B growth capital fund in the Midwest. Jake holds a Biochemistry degree and MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from University of Wisconsin, where he still advises as a proud Badger alumni.

Jacqueline joins Scout focused on tackling the toughest problems through mindset and innovation. She’s passionate about generating maximal value creation and impact through web3/blockchain infrastructure. She helps source, diligence, and execute deals as well as support current portfolio companies and investor relations. Jacqueline graduated from the United States Naval Academy and went on the lead forward deployed teams as one of the few women in the Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Community. She continuously trained and built small unit teams for “no fail” missions that required coordination with federal agencies, foreign dignitaries and local authorities to conduct global operations out of the Middle East and Africa. Prior to Scout, she spent two years at JP Morgan working closely with founders and helped build out their early stage Technology and Disruptive Commerce practice.
